1004187 Review of Funding for Flood Management and Drainage Services

We are looking for a supplier to oversee research to understand the issue of an unsustainable funding model, what options could be considered to address this and pathways to address equity considerations. The scope of the required services will need to cover completing a comprehensive review of the current funding models for WRC’s critical infrastructure, and to identify, develop and test alternative funding models that consider affordability issues for targeted ratepayers alongside equity issues, and ensure sustainable investment in infrastructure in the long-term. The review and recommended funding models are to incorporate considerations for climate change and the associated risks. This includes evaluating the impact of climate-related events on infrastructure and integrating these factors into funding decisions to enhance community resilience.
