14227 SH3A R.7 R.P.0/11.36 WAIONGANA OVERBRIDGE (BSN114) - KIWIRAIL BR76 NPL CONCRETE REPAIRS

This is a Physical Works contract for undertaking of structural concrete repairs to the Waiongana Overbridge at RP 0/11.6 on State Highway 3A.

The Contract Works comprise of:
• Design and installation of temporary props
• Excavation and reinstatement of material at pier column bases
• Hydro-demolition of concrete on existing pier columns
• Concrete reinstatement with micro-concrete
• Replacement of reinforcing stirrups where necessary
• The application of a hydrophobic barrier to all pier columns
• A railway protection officer will be required while working onsite..

Only tenderers pre-qualified to Bridge Level C (3C) under the terms of the Transport Agency’s Prequalification System are eligible to submit a tender. Non-Price Attributes are required and will be marked on Pass/Fail basis.
