Stratford District Council would like to engage an engineering consultant to perform the works related to the renewal of the raw water line and grit tank that feeds the Stratford Water Treatment Plant (WTP). Raw water is currently fed from the Patea River (a significant river) through an existing intake structure to the raw water line and grit tank. The water then goes through the Plant for processing and on to the Storage Reservoirs for distribution.
