1461 - Stratford Raw Water Delivery Line and Grit Tank Construction

Council supplies potable drinking water to the Stratford Township which is sourced from the Pātea River and Konini Stream, and treated at the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) on Cardiff Road.
Due to the condition and age of the existing raw water line from the Pātea River and subsequent grit tank, Council is undertaking to renew these assets.

The successful Contractor shall supply and construct all the deliverables for the renewal of the Pātea River raw water delivery line and grit removal tank that feeds the Raw Water Pump Station at the WTP. All works shall include all pipework, electrical installation, instrumentation, commissioning, calibration and integration of the new systems with the existing infrastructure, as well as the provision of training on the new systems to the plant operators.
