CONTRACT 25/05 – SOUTH BELT WATER MAIN


Tenders are invited from suitably qualified contractors for the above contract.

This Contract is for the installation of a watermain in the road reserve of South Belt in Rangiora including the reinstatement of road features. This is a Measure and Value contract.
- The main tasks involved in this Contract are:
- Installation of approximately 152m of new 355mm OD PE water main in the road and berm.
- Installation of associated details as shown in drawings, including cutting into a large-diameter live water main.
- Excavate and reconstruct section of South Belt Road (Provisional Item)
- Dewatering for excavations over 2m deep in areas of high groundwater.
- Testing and disinfection of new main.
- Supply of As-Builts
- Site Reinstatement
