25 080 Eastgate Signalised Intersection

This contract is for the upgrade of SH30 and Wahanga-A-Rangi Crescent intersection and modifies the priority intersection to a signalised intersection. The extent of works is primarily focused on SH 30 approximately 200m on either side of the intersection and extends 40m down Wahanga-A-Rangi Crescent.
Two design options were developed for the signalised intersection namely:
Option 1 – Three leg signalised intersection
Option 2 – Four leg signalised intersection
Both these options are included with separated pricing schedules. The referred option for implementation will be confirmed by Rotorua Lakes Council after evaluation of tender submissions.
