We need a suitably qualified supplier to deliver comprehensive security services across the University’s Hamilton and Tauranga campuses and associated facilities. This includes rostered guarding, mobile patrols, alarm and CCTV monitoring, incident response, access control support, lock-up and unlock services, event security, emergency response support, security escorts, and reporting of security, safety and welfare concerns.

The successful supplier will need to provide a reliable, trained and licensed workforce capable of operating in a busy university environment. Security personnel will be expected to provide a visible and responsive presence, engage professionally with students, staff, visitors and the public, exercise sound judgement, and work collaboratively with University staff and relevant operational teams.

We also require strong transition planning, consistent reporting, effective contract management, appropriate uniforms and PPE, and the ability to support both day-to-day security operations and emergency preparedness requirements.
