#34 Paekakariki Hill Road Culverts Physical Works

Porirua City Council require an experienced contractor to construct a culvert replacement near #34 Paekākāriki Hill Road. The location of the site and asset ID for the culvert is outlined below.

This culvert is due for completion in the 25/26 financial year – ending June 30, 2026.
The site presents a high risk to road users due to its location under Paekākāriki Hill Road. The aim of this project is to replace the culvert with minimal disruption to the surrounding area, maintain access for local businesses, schools and residents at all times, and ensure minimal impact to the surrounding environment and significant natural area (SNA) during construction.
The chosen supplier should be well versed in drainage construction, temporary traffic management, health and safety, and risk management and mitigation.
