A & B Auto-Door Replacement

This project will replace the ageing automatic entry doors serving the main entrances to A Block and B Block together with the replacement of the existing passenger lift located in B Block.

A and B Block Entrance doors:
• Remove existing automatic entry doors.
• Install new automatic sliding door system.
• Remove existing Georgian wired glass screens.
• Replace existing canopy roofing and cladding.
• Remove asbestos cladding within project area.
• Install new exterior cladding.
• Install new internal and external timber screening.
• Install new recessed entrance matting.
• Reinstate existing access control system.

B Block Passenger Lift:
• Removal of existing lift equipment.
• Installation of new lift.
• New lift controls.
• Modern accessibility features.
• Improved reliability.
• Compliance with current accessibility standards.

Retentions are applicable.
Contract works insurance to be arranged by WITT.
