ADVANCE NOTICE - Traffic Signals Maintenance and Renewals

We would like to notify potential suppliers of an upcoming tender for traffic signals maintenance and renewals for assets owned by Tauranga District Council, Rotorua Lakes Council and Taupo District Council and Waka Kotahi.

The tender is expected to be advertised in February 2024.

The contract period will be for 3 years with an option for a further extension of 2 years subject to satisfactory performance.

The contract requires suppliers to have a depot based within 15 km of the Tauranga City boundaries.

New suppliers to the region will need to provide a plan for how they would establish themselves within a 3-month mobilisation period.

The plan will detail how they would secure a suitable depot site and the resources needed deliver this contract.

We strongly encourage all interested parties to keep a close watch on GETS in February 2024, where the tender will be advertised.
