Queenstown Lakes District Council (QLDC) is going to market for its new Arboriculture Professional Services Contract. At a high level, the deliverables include:
Tree inspections
• QTRA (Quantified Tree Risk Assessment)-based risk assessments
• Site-specific inspections encompassing areas of trees
• Inspections of specific trees
• Project inspections
• Subdivision input
Deliverables
• Arboriculture reports covering risk and providing recommendations on management and succession planning. Reporting must meet Council standards.
• STEM (Standard Tree Evaluation Method) reports
• Strategic reports examining the management of specific areas, such as Quail Rise and Peninsula Bay
• Specialist reports, including: - Quantified Tree Risk Assessments - Tree risk assessment qualification reports - VALID Tree Risk Assessments
Additional services
• Quality assurance and auditing
• Asset capture and validation
• Site inspections
• PiCUS testing as part of deliverables, including sonic tomography
• Pest plant and tree planting programme management
• Rural tree safety assessments
• Subdivision input reports
