Additional Building Contractors - Housing Modifications

Enable New Zealand (ENZ) is the leading provider of Community Disability Support Services delivering a range of local, regional and national services on behalf of District Health Boards, the Ministry of Health and ACC to the ageing and disabled communities across New Zealand. Enable New Zealand is funded by the Ministry of Health to provide housing modification services. Our services are for eligible disabled people living in the areas below:

• North Island: all areas south of the Bombay Hills
• South Island, Stewart Island, Chatham Islands

We manage a network of over 100 building contractors and consultants to carry out these services.

We are seeking to find additional suitably qualified building contractors who adopt the ethos of Ministry of Health to provide cost effective solutions, follow the brief, ask questions, respect the person and the family and adhere to MoH criteria set in the Housing Modification Manual. Providing Basic and Complex housing modifications in the following District Health Board (DHB) regions:

• Waikato
• Bay of Plenty
• Taranaki
• Lakes
• Tairawhiti
• Hawkes Bay
• MidCentral
• Whanganui
• Hutt
• Capital & Coast
• Nelson Marlborough (Blenheim District)
• West Coast
• Canterbury
• South Canterbury
• Otago Southland
