Advance Notice - NZ Post Plastic Courier Satchels

New Zealand Post (NZ Post) intends to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) in February 2026 for the supply of plastic courier satchels used by both retail and business customers. These products are critical to NZ Post’s network, with over 10 million units ordered annually across a range of 38 items.

The successful supplier will need to provide high-quality satchels that meet NZ Post’s specifications for compatibility with automated sorting systems, durability, and sustainability. Strong environmental credentials, ethical sourcing, and proven capability in high-volume production are essential.
This opportunity offers suppliers the chance to partner with NZ Post, a trusted national brand that processes nearly 650 million items annually. The resulting contract is expected to commence in July/August 2026 for an initial term of three years.
