In a major new initiative, the Ministry of Justice and the judiciary are setting out to modernise the administration of justice through the courts and tribunals of Aotearoa, New Zealand. This includes court management technology across all courts and tribunals nationwide, the only programme of this breadth in the world. It will touch the lives of all those who access and participate in Aotearoa, New Zealand’s courts and tribunals.
Soon we will be inviting interested Vendors to submit proposals in the first stage of our procurement of a new digital case management service, Te Au Reka.
This Advance Notice provides an overview of the opportunity, a description of the sourcing process, an outline of the requirements, and a Vendor self-assessment tool, prior to us releasing the Request for Proposal (RFP) in October. The Advance Notice provides the introductory information to help you determine:
• whether you have the capability and capacity to deliver a case management service that will meet our functional and non-functional requirements (as described in the Requirements Overview section of the Advance Notice document)
• whether you have the experience and knowledge required to deliver a solution and change of this scale and complexity, and
• therefore if you wish to respond to the RFP when it is released.
The Advance Notice also supports you to get ready to respond to the RFP, including if you need to work with other Vendors to prepare a response.
More information on our requirements is provided in the attached Advance Notice documentation.
No response is needed to this Advance Notice.
