Advance Notice of contract opportunity : Waitakere Hospital : Inpatient Ward & ICU

The Opportunity
Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand – Waitematā (the Principal) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to engage a Main Contractor to deliver the Construction Works (the Works) required for the Waitakere Hospital Manaaki Hōhono (Urgent Capacity Beds & ICU) (the Project). The RFP release is subject to the receipt of all necessary approvals.
The construction services are expected to include (but not be limited to):
• construct a 30-bed ward and 8-bed ICU (6 beds fully fitted out and 2 shell rooms);
• deliver a fully operational facility;
• quality of construction shall be of a high standard; and
• construction activity shall not impact on Waitakere operations.
