The Dunedin City Council (DCC) are looking to introduce Licence Plate Recognition (LPR) parking enforcement technology to improve parking accessibility in the city.
The DCC is looking to procure a cost-effective Licence Plate Recognition (LPR) camera system, or similar, that can be used to undertake parking enforcement within Dunedin. Alongside the camera equipment, a suitable infringement issuing and reporting system needs to be in place.
We are conducting market research to find out what systems suppliers have in place which could be deployed in Dunedin to improve parking enforcement management.
We need a system that can integrate with DCC systems, and meet our requirements outlined in the attached.
We wish to hear from suppliers in the market before initiating an open-market process on GETS during 2024.
To discuss this potential contract opportunity and convey interest, please contact: Abbey Chamberlain – Senior Transport Planner (refer to attachment for contact details).
