Auckland Regional Possum Control 22-24

Auckland Council is seeking to appoint a supplier who will provide regional possum control services. The purpose of this notice is to identify suppliers interested in participating in the regional possum control tender.

Background

This procurement is to procure professional services to control possums in high conservation and biodiversity value areas across the Auckland Region through ground-based control work. Possums are a declared pest species in the Regional Pest Management Plan.
The areas to control range in size from 900 hectares to 7,000 hectares, but average around 4000-5000 hectares in size, with between 20,000 and 40,000 hectares required to be control each year.
The contract is for an initial 2-year term, contract renewals allow for total 4-year term.

All suppliers who respond through GETS will be invited to participate in the RFP process through SAP Ariba by Auckland Council’s contact person. All RFP submissions must be made via SAP Ariba.
