Bealey Spur Track Construction and Upgrade

This tender is for the upgrade of the Bealey Spur walking track in Arthur’s Pass. The works include constructing 800 metres of new walking track and carrying out remediation on various sections of the existing track between the car park and Bealey Spur Hut. The upgrade will involve installing in-ground timber boxed steps, timber barriers, culverts, and timber boardwalks. Contractors will need experience in backcountry track construction and be skilled in remote helicopter operations for material transport and site access.
