This plan relates to the purchase of a consultancy service for undertaking a “Facility Condition Assessment (FCA)” for critical facilities and Property Condition Assessment (PCA)” for important facilities.
This process is required as part of the process updating the Facilities Activity Management plans required by the Local Government Act 2002, that is necessary to develop the Long-Term Plan 2027-2030, and follows best practice outlined in the 2020 International Infrastructure Management Manual (IIMM) guidelines.
The key objective of this contract will be to inform decisions for facilities financial lifecycle planning, including but not limited to renewals and maintenance forecast planning and budgeting, and disposals and acquisition of assets.
The procurement’s proposed outcomes are detailed reports, excel sheets for projected maintenance costs and renewals, and images of relevant parts of the facilities. All of which shall be in digital formats that can be processed by existing software packages already purchased by the council.
