The QLDC Parks team and community groups have undertaken an assessment of the trail assets and identified a number of trails which require upgrading or improvement to meet minimum service standards as identified in the QLDC Tracks and Trails Design Guide or meet future demand, such as the Gibbston Valley Trail.
The projects to be tendered include:
• Millenium Trail Level of Service Upgrade
• Albert Town Trail Level of Service Upgrade
• Eely Point - Minor Improvement
• Gibbston Valley Trail - Level of Service Upgrade
• Twin Rivers Trail – Storm Event Repair
• Recent damage to the Twin Rivers trail due to the Shotover Reservoir failure
• Fernhill, Thomson Street Connection Level of Service Upgrade
