QLDC has funding to improve signage for active travel routes around the Upper Clutha. The goal is to establish a consistent signage approach as the active travel network grows throughout the district. Current signage is ad hoc, and QLDC seeks proposals from experienced consultants to investigate and design wayfinding signage that improves usability and accessibility. Similar work has been completed in Queenstown, and this previously completed work will form the foundation for works in the Upper Clutha part of the district.
Physical works of sign installation will be completed under a separate tender of works.
