C26-0095 Wastewater rising main Upgrade Isabel Street and Mako Street, Whangamata

Thames-Coromandel District Council (TCDC) invites tenders from experienced contractors to deliver the civil and mechanical installation works for a designed diversion of wastewater rising mains in Whangamata. The works involve diverting the rising mains from the Isabel Road and Mako Road Wastewater Pump Stations directly to the Lindsay Road Wastewater Pump Station, in accordance with the detailed design prepared by Weir Consulting Engineers Limited, to address wastewater surcharging in the Casement Road area during heavy rainfall. The Contractor must be capable of installing rising mains using both trenched and trenchless methods, working within roading corridors, and minimising disruption to traffic and the local community, while achieving the required capacity improvements without increasing operational or maintenance requirements.
