CON00003484-2026 - Swarbrick Landing Asset Renewals

The purpose of this procurement is to provide an equitable and transparent opportunity for suppliers to submit proposals for the supply, delivery, and completion of scheduled parks asset renewal works and associated professional services.

Project Scope (Structured for Clarity)

Professional Services

Engineering design, including detailed drawings suitable for tender and updated for construction.
Preparation and lodgement of resource consent applications for works within the river corridor and within an A8/SNA location.
Building consent services, where applicable.
Management of an open market tender process.
Contractor engagement and monitoring throughout delivery.
Project management services.
Engineering MSQA services (provided by Frame Group Ltd).

Parks Asset Renewals

Renewal of park furniture.
Renewal of rubbish bins.
Replacement of river access stairs (three locations).
Renewal of decking, subfloor reinforcement, and balustrades for the viewing platform.
Minor renewals to paths and bollards required due to damage from renewal activities.

Civil and Environmental Works

Remediation of approximately 1,130 m² of riverside embankment using designed rip rap and landscape planting.
Preparation and resurfacing of the existing carpark (asphalt), including revised entry/exit points to River Road, new line marking, and speed humps at access points.
Minor renewals at the BBQ area.
