This Request for Proposals (RFP) is an invitation to suitably qualified suppliers to submit proposals for COVID-19 and National Immunisation Programme research projects.
The Ministry of Health (the Ministry) is seeking to fund research projects that will address knowledge gaps in the two areas of a) COVID-19 research and b) National Immunisation Programme research.
The funded projects will need to align with the following:
• New Zealand Health Research Strategy 2017-2027 and its guiding principles of research excellence, transparency, partnership with Māori and collaboration for impact.
• COVID-19 priority research themes and National Immunisation Programme priority research themes.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on the national response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the national immunisation programme. We are looking for research projects that can quickly generate actionable insights to help us improve the design and delivery of the national response to the pandemic.
