Capital Works Forward Pipeline

The Ministry of Education’s latest Capital Works forward pipeline is now available on our website.

Our forward construction project pipeline aims to give our Construction Directory suppliers indicative timings of anticipated construction tenders over $500,000. The pipeline covers projects forecast to be released in the next 12-60 months and includes tenders in progress and awarded contracts.

We currently have over $408 million worth of tenders in progress.

This information reflects the current status of the Ministry’s pipeline of projects and the earliest they would be ready to begin their relevant procurement process. The Ministry undertakes a staged investment process where all projects go through a rigorous testing of their prioritisation and position within its Capital Investment programmes prior to tender. The Ministry notes that the timing of these procurement processes is subject to change.

As each project’s business case gains approval, we'll indicate its expected value in our pipeline. We are continuously evolving our data management to help support the health of the construction industry.
