BSI Group - Plant & Food Research (BSI) has an opportunity for a supplier to provide us with a solution for a cell sorter, for our St – Marine Products team based at our Nelson site address.
We are seeking a platform that is applicable to a wide range of fragile cell types, even organelles (e.g. purified nuclei) that are particularly vulnerable to sorting artefacts, such as protoplasts, embryonic microspores, various stem cells, neurons, immune cells and primary cells in general.
In addition to generating monoclonal cell lines, the instrument must enable target cell population isolation for various -omics platforms (e.g. genomics/epigenomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics), allowing automated removal of debris, dead cells, doublets etc.
