Climate Change and Variability Report for the Canterbury Region

We are seeking proposals for the preparation of a comprehensive climate change and variability report for the Canterbury Region, utilising the latest downscaled CMIP6 climate projections for New Zealand. This project will update and extend Canterbury’s existing climate evidence base, providing regionally and locally relevant information on projected changes in mean climate conditions, extremes, variability, and sequences of adverse climate events. The outputs will support climate risk assessments, adaptation planning, infrastructure management, and natural resource decision-making across the region.
