Community Events Services

Marlborough District Council (MDC) is seeking Registrations of Interest for the above contract. The purpose of this registration process is to ascertain market capability in the area and to inform and assist Council in making their decision as to the nature of further procurement processes (if any) to follow.

For many years a single contractor has managed MDC community events. MDC now intends to consider new ideas for events and the way in which these are delivered.

The key community events which Council require to be delivered on an annual basis are the Blenheim Christmas Parade, New Year’s Eve event in Picton and Southern Jam Youth Jazz Festival. Council will consider interest from parties for one of these events or multiple events. Ideas and suggestions for additional events are also being sought.

Any contract(s) will commence 1 July 2023.
