Contract 921 - Balclutha and Owaka Three Waters Renewals Programme – Charlotte Street, Renfrew Street and Owaka

The Charlotte Street Water Main Renewal project:
It will replace approximately 288 metres of ageing water main that is no longer fit for purpose. The renewal will improve network reliability, reduce the risk of failures and outages, and provide a more resilient water supply for the community.

Renfrew Street Stormwater Main Extension:
The Renfrew Street Stormwater Main Extension project involves the installation of approximately 187 m of new DN300 stormwater main along Renfrew Street, from the John Street intersection to approximately 20 Renfrew Street, to improve drainage capacity and reduce flooding risk.

Owaka Sewer Network Renewal Project:
Renewal of an existing wastewater pipeline within the Owaka Sports Grounds and along Cargill Street, including installation of a new sewer main, manholes, and reconnection of existing sewer services to improve network reliability and address known defects.
