Elmwood Normal School - Demolition - Main Contract Works

Elmwood Normal School is a State Contributing Normal school situated in beautiful grounds in the central city suburb of Merivale, Christchurch. It offers a six-year programme, catering for Years 0–6 children, from which the children then proceed to intermediate schools.
CSR rebuild works have now been completed with new two-storey blocks being constructed. The old two blocks are now to be removed as they are surplus to requirements. School is still deciding on how to best utilise the cleared space but at this stage the expectation is for the site to be left hard compacted and safe. Should any further works be required this will be negotiated during construction
