The Ministry of Social Development is exploring options to transition from traditional device provisioning to a strategic, flexible, and comprehensive End User Device Provisioning and Management Service (EUDPM). Key service areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
• Device Management: Provisioning, support, collection, secure disposal, and software licensing.
• User Support: Service desk, incident/problem management, and remote/onsite assistance.
• Workforce Enablement: Mobile device management, remote work support, and onboarding/offboarding services.
• Operational Services: Application packaging (SOE), asset lifecycle, warranty management, and refresh cycles.
• Commercial Models: As-a-service, purchase, leasing, volume-based pricing, buyout options, and consumption-based billing.
