Eskdale Road and Conclusion Street Stormwater Upgrade

This procurement outlines the delivery and strategy for the Eskdale Road & Conclusion Street
Stormwater Upgrade, undertaken by Tiaki Wai. The construction works aim to mitigate localised
flooding risks, enhance stormwater system performance, and provide future resilience to
climate-induced rainfall events causing flooding.

This project involves civil construction works to improve the overland stormwater flow path
between Conclusion Street and Eskdale Road in Ascot Park, Porirua. Key components include
upgrades to six stormwater inlets, installation of new piping and a scruffy dome structure, flow
path stabilisation using reno mattresses and gabion baskets, and the creation of an energy-
dissipating inlet and grass-lined channel.
