Expression of Interest for Lotto NZ Gaming System Replacement

The New Zealand Lotteries Commission ("Lotto NZ") is running a two-step procurement process for its Gaming System, involving:
(1) the first step, being this open Expression of Interest (EOI) process; and
(2) after evaluation of the EOI Responses, the second step of shortlisted Respondents being invited to participate in a closed Request for Proposal (RFP) process.

This means any supplier who wants to participate in the RFP must respond to this EOI and qualify for the shortlist based on their EOI Response.

The Gaming System is the core of Lotto NZ’s operations and allows us to achieve our purpose to provide safe gaming that allows New Zealanders to play and win, while contributing money back to New Zealand communities.

The Gaming System is made up of two core components, and we are inviting Respondents to respond to either one OR both components, through this EOI.

The components are:
(1) a Core Gaming System; being the core system that provides our draw-based games engine and retail network.
(2) an Online Gaming System; being the online system platform that provides the digital channel, player account management, interactive functionality and online games.

Through this procurement, Lotto NZ is seeking a long-term engagement with a supplier (or suppliers) who can best enable us to meet Lotto NZ’s objectives now and well into the future.
