Future Procurement Opportunity (FPO) – Supply of Storage and Distribution Services

Pharmac is planning to issue a competitive process for supply of a range of storage and distribution services. The proposed services may include (but are not limited to):
• the storage, distribution and associated logistical services for funded condoms, naloxone ampoules, and nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) products to be distributed in bulk to community health organisations located throughout New Zealand;
• national and regional-level vaccines storage, distribution and associated logistical services (which may include COVID-19 vaccines storage and distribution services);
• the storage, distribution and associated logistical services for Harvoni and ribavirin.

For the avoidance of doubt, this process would not include:
• supply of the products covered by these distribution agreements themselves;
• storage and distribution services for COVID-19 treatments.
