Cyclone Gabrielle struck the Gisborne Tairāwhiti region in February 2023 followed by a further rain event in June 2023 (the North Island Severe Weather Events), causing significant and widespread damage to bridge and road infrastructure, including a multitude of slips and dropouts.
GDC has identified an ongoing need for specialist engineering, project management and MSQA support in the Community Lifelines Journeys Team, the internal GDC business hub responsible for the Recovery Remediation Work Programmes to deliver the Slips and Dropouts remediation workstream.
The purpose of this RFP is to invite proposals from suitably qualified and experienced companies to join a Programme and Project Management Panel that includes programme management, project management, design management, MSQA, resource consenting, stakeholder management support and associated tasks (the Programme and Project Management Panel or where relevant, the Panel).
