Generator Replacement for Flood Protection Pump Stations (Paeroa)

This is an opportunity to be part of Council’s upgrade of its flood protection assets, which are vital to protecting our Waikato communities. The project covers five pump station sites: Paeroa Main Drain, Mill Road, Roger Harris, Alexanders, and Stocks. The Pump Stations themselves require prime-rated generators as mains electricity is either not available or is at risk of interruption/failure during significant weather events when pumping is most critical.

Council is looking for credible suppliers who have the expertise to interpret our specific sites requirements and provide suitable product options. Reliable products, ease of ongoing maintenance, and on time delivery are all critical to the ongoing success of our flood protection assets.

This RFP is for the replacement of six end-of-life generators that provide power to five key flood protection pump stations to the Waihou Valley area near Paeroa.
