Graphic Design and Associated Services (Print and Signage) - Primary and Secondary

The purpose of this RFP is to engage two graphic design agencies, with existing print and signage supplier relationships, to supply medium – large scale graphic design services and delivered print and signage across Waikato District Business units. Currently, Waikato District Council Communications Team have trained a small number of internal creators that are utilised by the business for design work with a ‘30 minute’ scope, including flyers, fact sheets and small posters. Due to this, these small design jobs are out of scope for this procurement.
Waikato District Council is seeking one primary design agency and one secondary graphic design agency. The Primary Design Agency will be engaged to partner with the Communications Team and assist with design process set-up and resource creation and then be the initial ‘go to’ for Waikato District Council for the ongoing delivery of medium – large scale graphic design, print and signage services. The secondary designer will be engaged by Waikato District Council for the delivery of ‘overflow work’ to include medium – large scale graphic design, print and signage services during peak demand periods.
