HNZ - Northland - BOI Lift and Enabling Works

Health New Zealand is seeking proposals from suitably qualified and experienced main contractors to deliver the enabling and lift works at Bay of Islands Hospital. The project will commence with staged enabling works, including fit-out alterations and relocation of staff and clinical functions to create space for the installation of a second lift within the existing ward block.

The hospital will remain operational throughout construction. The works must therefore be carefully planned and sequenced to minimise disruption, maintain clinical services and patient access, and meet health, safety and infection prevention requirements. Respondents must demonstrate relevant experience working in live healthcare environments, appropriate resources and capacity, and strong construction, stakeholder and disruption management capabilities.
