Hautapu Stormwater Basin and Allwill Drive Swales’

This tender is for the construction of the C8 soakage stormwater basin and Allwill Drive Stage 2 stormwater swales and swale improvements. The basin will occupy approximately 2.29 hectares, designed as a soakage reservoir to manage stormwater from the surrounding industrial catchment, including a proposed development to the south.
The stormwater basin will be approximately 380m long x 60m wide and 4.5m deep and be planted in native trees and shrubs. The basin will have driveway access from Allwill Drive and include a metal maintenance path for vehicles. The area is currently farmland and connects the wider commercial area via Allwill Drive and Hannon Road, Hautapu. The basin will be fenced to keep out livestock.
