High Resolution LiDAR Acquisition

The Department of Conservation wishes to acquire high resolution aerial LiDAR data for 185 Tier 1 forest and shrubland monitoring plots scattered across New Zealand. These LiDAR data will be used to define relationships between aerial LiDAR and ground-based metrics derived from permanent 20 m x 20 m Tier 1 forest and shrubland plots that describe forest architecture, health, and are used to calculate carbon stocks
