Hokitika Gorge Lower Suspension Bridge

1.3 Description of the Contract Works
1.3.1 This contract is for the construction of a new 44m pedestrian suspension bridge at the Hokitika Gorge, Hokitika.
1.3.2 The Contract Works include the following elements:
• Site preparations and establishment
• Demolition and removal of existing 42m Suspension bridge
• Construction of the 44m span Lower Hokitika Gorge Suspension bridge.
• Transport to site of all plant, materials, and labour necessary for construction.

This contract is for the supply of all the necessary plant, materials and labour (except those noted to be supplied by others) and for the satisfactory completion, commissioning and maintenance of the work described in the Specification and Drawings.
