University of Canterbury is planning to purchase a low volume titration calorimeter (ITC).
Isothermal Titration Calorimeter measures the heat released or absorbed during biomolecular interactions to simultaneously calculate binding affinity stoichiometry, enthalpy, and entropy in a single experiment. This equipment will be applied to research in the study of proteins and drug discovery by multiple research groups within the Biomolecular Interaction Centre and at the University of Canterbury.
