The project involves remedial works to the exterior building envelope across multiple blocks within the School, specifically Blocks 1, 3, 5, 7, and 8. The initial scope of work focused on replacing localised elements of the exterior envelope, targeting areas identified as requiring repair or renewal due to weathering, deterioration, or performance deficiencies.
During the project’s early planning phase, it was agreed to extend the scope to include additional window joinery replacement across the affected blocks, ensuring improved thermal performance, weather-tightness, and aesthetic consistency. This expanded scope was reviewed, and the MOE formally approved the revised project budget in February 2025.
Following further site inspections in May 2025, it was identified that the preliminary design documentation required amendment to address existing window deterioration for Block 8 (Hall). As a result, the scope was further expanded to include full window replacement and cladding replacement on the upper sections of the building.
This will ensure a comprehensive approach to the building envelope remediation for the school.
