Kaitaia Resilience Work

The Principal is planning to undertake a programme of resilience works at Kaitāia Airport to
improve the operational safety of existing infrastructure that maintains and/or enhances its current
performance and level of service.

To support this, the Principal intends to engage a suitably qualified contractor with demonstrable
experience in working in airside environments and successful delivery of airside infrastructure
projects.

The preferred contractor will especially have proven experience in airport pavement
construction and surface treatments, be of sufficient scale to manage a variety of work packages
and subcontractors, and be equipped to adequately manage construction risks to not
inadvertently disrupt the operational safety of the aerodrome.
