The Legal, Ethics, and Privacy (LEAP) branch within MBIE implemented a LPMS seven years ago. That largely off-the-shelf solution was developed primarily to support private practice law firms rather than in-house legal functions.
Since the time it was implemented, there has been great advancement in legal operations and associated technology.
We want to procure an in-house legal practice focused LPMS that will assist us to:
• support the achievement of MBIEs strategic objectives, which focus on working better together and building our future
• support high quality business partnering
• provide visibility of our work, resources and risks (case management and workflow)
• support our people’s development
• support efficient and effective branch operations
• ensure that the LPMS we have in the future will be both fit for purpose and offer great public value.
