M365 Metadata Auto-classification Solution RFP

WorkSafe is improving its Information Management (IM) maturity via a programme of work that covers people, process and technology. Part of this programme involves uplifting the way me manage out information stored in M365 repositories, Teams, SharePoint etc.
We are looking for a solution, and partner, that can help us automatically classify and tag (e.g. apply metadata to) our information across these repositories and reduce/remove the need for users to be involved in this process. This includes compliance driven metadata (e.g. retention, privacy, security) and metadata to increase the findability and usefulness of our information (e.g. business classifications, ontologies).
Ideally this will better enable WorkSafe to allow future AI solutions to better leverage our unstructured information.

For your response to be evaluated you must meet the following pre-conditions (any responses that do not meet these pre-conditions will not be evaluated):

a. The solution must be a configurable, off-the-shelf product; not custom built for WorkSafe.
b. Implementation and configuration support for set-up must be provided by the respondent.
c. The respondent must not sub-contract services or submit joint proposals.

If you wish to attend the supplier briefing at 1pm NZT 18 or 19 December please email worksafe.procurement@worksafe.govt.nz - note that these briefings are identical and the purpose of the two timeslots is to provide flexibility. The supplier briefing pack will be published as an addendum on GETS once both briefings have been completed.
