MTFJ Rural Community Resilience Programme

The Mayors Taskforce For Jobs (MTFJ) has developed the Industry Partnerships - MTFJ Rural Community Resilience Programme (the Programme) in collaboration with government agencies. The Programme aims to provide employment outcomes for young people, particularly those who are NEETs (Not in Employment, Education, or Training), at risk of becoming NEETs, disabled youth, and other disadvantaged youth.
The Programme offers funding to support these initiatives that promote sustainable employment outcomes. The funding is divided into two tranches, with the second tranche being provided when certain milestones are met.
The Programme offers various services such as wage subsidies, pastoral care, employability programs, and support services for employers. In previous years the Councils participating in the Programme have been required to deliver a minimum of 50 sustainable employment outcomes and report monthly on their progress. There has also been opportunity of additional funding to achieve further outcomes.
