Main Building Contractor for LSM Bathroom Modification at Hiwinui School

The Board of Trustees for Hiwinui School, are seeking a suitably qualified Main Building Contractor to carry out the LSM Bathroom Modifications Project.

The Contract Works required are: The proposal is to reconfigure and refurbish the existing staff toilets, accessible bathroom and resource room to create a larger universal bathroom with a shower, change table and H-track hoist. New built-in storage will be provided in the adjacent hallway to replace storage lost through the reconfiguration. Modifications to the adjoining multipurpose fire doors will also be undertaken to achieve compliance, including new timber-framed walls, cladding, storage modifications, emergency lighting and signage.

Contractors MUST visit site for tender to be compliant. Contact School Office to arrange a site visit. Refer to invite letter attached. Contractors must also arrange a site visit prior to the school holidays Friday 25th September.

Ideally dependent on MoE funding approval this work would start as soon as possible after confirmation provided, however this will be discussed with the successful contractor and school once funding approvals are confirmed.
