Main Building Contractor for Te Kura o Otangarei Block 1 South Refurb

The Project involves the Stage One refurbishment of Block 1 South at Te Kura o Otangarei, located at 189 William Jones Drive, Otangarei, Whangārei. Block 1 South is an existing single-storey teaching block containing general classrooms, administration spaces, a nurses’ room, and specialist learning spaces.
The works form part of a broader, staged redevelopment approach to improve the functionality, safety, performance, and longevity of the school’s existing building stock. Stage One focuses on essential structural strengthening, building envelope renewal, internal reconfiguration, and services upgrades to ensure the block remains fit for ongoing educational use.
Potential Additional items include Stage Two which is the refurbishment of the toilet and caretakers block.
