Main Building/Roofing Contractor for Gym Roof Repitch at Whanganui Girls' College

The Contract Works required are: The proposal is to remove and replace the existing roof to the changing rooms and associated rooms with a new membrane roofing system, including creating the required roof fall to improve drainage. Works will also include remediation of roof penetrations, replacement of spouting, and associated drainage works to ensure a watertight and compliant roofing system. A Building Consent & BEA review is required, and the Ministry of Education Construction Observation Team will monitor the works to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.

All work to comply with manufacturer’s specifications and recommendations.

All tender documentation and necessary information attached.

Contractors MUST visit site for tender to be compliant. Contact the noted representative in Invite Letter to arrange a site visit.

Ideally dependent on MoE funding approval this work would start as soon as possible after confirmation provided, however this will be discussed with the successful contractor and school once funding approvals are confirmed.
